Franchise questions
What does the Scoot franchise partnership include?
The ready platform (branded app, backend, operations dashboard), full technical installation and training, exclusive rights in your territory, a brand kit and marketing support, plus ongoing technical help and platform updates.
Do I need tech or mobility experience?
No. The platform is ready and our team handles vehicle connection and installation. You mainly need a business mindset, the will to work and the investment in vehicles and local permits.
How many vehicles do I need to start?
We recommend at least 10-15 vehicles for a mid-sized city, for good coverage. Tourist cities may need more in season. We work out the right scale together.
Is my territory exclusive?
Yes. Every franchise partner gets exclusive rights in the agreed territory. We never approve a second Scoot franchise in the same market.
Who handles the permits from the local authority?
The franchise partner, as it needs a local presence and a legal entity. We give full guidance and a template file for the municipality, based on our experience in Patras.
How does pricing work? Is there a royalty fee?
The model and commercial terms are discussed during evaluation and adapted to scale and market. Contact us for a detailed proposal.
What about support after launch?
You get technical support for the platform, regular app and backend updates, an account manager and contact with the other franchise partners.
